I advise because, as a first-generation college student, I know how difficult the college application process can be for students with minimal help and resources. All students deserve the opportunity to pursue higher education, and being an adviser allows me to play a role in helping students enroll at their dream colleges. Being able to assist students as they navigate the college application and transition process is an amazing experience, and my students continue to inspire me every day.
